<description>I heard several people say that they would probably not be able to use all the tomatoes in today's share. I wanted to ask them to donate their tomatoes to poor li'l ol' me, but I was too shy.
Instead, I will offer here some tomato juice recipes which are so delicious that you may regret having so few tomatoes....

RAW V8 JUICE
6 med. carrots
1 sm. beet, washed well
3 lg. tomatoes
1 bunch spinach (or 1 bag baby spinach)
1/4 head cabbage
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
3 stalks celery
1/4 onion
1/2 clove garlic, or to taste
1 - 3 Kale leaves (a little goes a long way)
Chili pepper to taste

Process all ingredients through a juicer or in a high speed blender.
Tabasco sauce to taste can be substituted for the chili pepper.

SPICY TOMATO JUICE
3 ripe tomatoes
1/2 red pepper
1 stalk celery
1 apple
1 T nutritional yeast (optional)
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 T. garlic powder
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
pinch ground black pepper
3 drops Tabasco (optional)

Process all ingredients in a high speed blender.

GARLIC DELIGHT
2 tomatoes
2 apples
1 clove garlic
sprig parsley

Process all ingredients in a high-speed blender.

This is a serious bacteria buster.
Garlic reduces blood pressure, helps against blood clotting, and helps lower LDL, inhibiting bad cholesterol. It enhances the immune system. The allicin in garlic inhibits bacterial and fungus growth. It is useful in overcoming candida and other yeast related overgrowths.
Garlic is known to increase the flow of digestive enzymes. It also promotes detoxification through the skin.
Parsley mitigates the unpleasant garlic odor.

I keep posting more recipes on my blog as I think of them
