Just Food’s Good Food Summit

87.jpgJust Food is hosting their Good Food Summit. Registration is now open to everyone. There is a discount for registering before November 1. Some topics include climate change, racial justice and nutrition, global food footprint, school gardens, and more. Additional info about the summit after the jump.

The Summit will be held on December 1st at The New School. We are excited to have Ian Chaney and Aaron Woolf, makers of the soon-to-be- released film “King Corn” delivering our keynote address. Workshop topics throughout the day will include Climate Change and Agriculture, Connections between Racial Justice, Nutrition, Food and Neighborhood Health, New York’s Global Food Footprint, Youth Curricula in Gardens and Schools, and Eating Local Throughout the Year among many more!
