Sunday, October 21 is Fall Festival on the Golden Earthworm Farm! We rented a bus for our members to get to the farm together. Go to http://www.astoriacsa.com/farmvisit.php to reserve/pay for your spot on the bus. Sign up now to ensure your space! Cost is $15 for adults (2 kids free; $5 per child for 3 or more). Please reserve early, we are trying to determine if another bus will be necessary. If you have your own transportation no need to sign up, we’ll see you on the farm! If you cannot make the farm visit, or even if you can, we hope you will think about making a donation towards hosting members of the Steinway Food Pantry (where our leftover food is donated). Thanks to our member, Choi, for organizing bus transport.
If you are taking the bus please meet at Cafe Bar at 9 AM. Buses will leave promptly at 9:30. We will leave the farm around 3/ 3:30 PM. Returning to Astoria around 5.
Remember, the farm is hosting a pot luck lunch! Please bring a homemade dish for 3 people. Label what’s inside for veggies, vegans, raws know what’s up!
