Are you a Locavore?
October 1st, 2007 by stacey — Filed under: Events, Local Business/ Community News —A friend passed this on to me. A German magazine is researching a piece on Locavores in NYC. Anyone interested in being interviewed should contact the journalist direct. His email is below:
I am a freelance journalist working for Utopia magazine - a soon to be launched website dedicated to sustainable living ( http://utopia.de/inprogress/). Right now, I am researching an article about people being part of the Locavores Movement in New York City. We would like to run a piece about the places in NYC where you may find vegetables from the five borroughs or around NYC, honey from New York City, green markets, restaurants, etc. The idea would be that you as a guide would show your favorite places in New York. We got a photographer living in New York so you just would need to show her around. Me, from Munich, Germany - Praise the Internet! - would do the interview via Email or over the phone- just tell me what might be more comfortable for you.
Can you name some place where you go?
Now, the hard part is: It would be necessary to do both the shoot and the interview sometime this week since the website will launch next monday. Would that be possible for you?
Best regards
Alexander.–
