Dear Members, CSA order reminder for February 9,
We are writing this reminder for our delivery coming up on Saturday, February 9. The order deadline is Monday, February 4 at midnight. We thank you for indulging us these days for preparation of the orders as the number of farms we coordinate with has increased and the number of orders has increased. Some changes will be made in 2008 to the Briermere Farm fruit share delivered by the Golden Earthworm Farm. In order to add flexibility and hopefully improve upon the fruit share the changes will occur as described below.

This week’s share will be the same as last week’s. Try some recipes from our new recipes page like chocolate beet cake, borscht, gnocchi or rutabaga puree. Have other recipes you’ve been making? Submit them to the page!
YELLOW POTATOES - 6LB
CARROTS - 8 LB
BEETS - 4.5 LB
PARSNIPS - 2 LB
PURPLE TOP TURNIPS - 1.25 LB
CELERIAC - 1.25 LB
WATERMELON RADISH- .75 LB OR 2-3 RADISH
RUTABAGA- 1.5 LB
MAYBE SOME GARLIC
NOTE- Rutabaga have purple shading near top and are yellow. Purple top turnips have purple shading but are white.
Watermelon Radish is a Green tinted white color on the outside, round, has a tail, and is deep purple inside. It can be eaten raw if so desired.
