The red cabbage harvest was very inconsistent this year, so some heads will be big- and others, small.

This was our first trial year growing sweet potatoes, and overall, the crop did very well. The only trouble we ran into was a disease called “scurf” which discolors the skin, and some grubs, which made those little indentation in the skin. We plan to grow a lot more next year!

Winter Share Info

Golden Earthworm will have a limited number of Winter Vegetable Shares available with add-ons of a Mixed Apple Share ($21.25 total for 3 lbs per delivery) and Cider Share ($20 total for 1/2 gallon per delivery). You must purchase a Vegetable Share to add-on apple or cider shares. You may add-on as many apple or cider shares you like.  We do not offer scholarship share pricing for the winter share option. Delivery location will most likely be at the home of Liz Cousins, near 30th st and 31st Ave.

Butternut Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes (white & yellow varieties), Carrots, Red Beets, Celery Root, Rutabaga, Watermelon Radish. First share may include: Cabbage, Kale, Leeks (depending on the weather– no guarantees on this!)

We will have ordering set up on the website shortly.

NOTE: We will continue our CSA Pasture deliveries through the winter. These will be once a month, on Saturdays.
